OpenRouter provides access to hundreds of AI models through a single API key. Instead of managing separate keys for each provider, you configure one OpenRouter key and gain access to models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, and many more.

Why OpenRouter

  • Automatic fallbacks — if a model is unavailable from one provider, OpenRouter routes to an alternative

Setup

Create an account

Go to openrouter.ai and sign up for an account.

Generate an API key

Navigate to your dashboard and generate a new API key. Copy the key.

Add the key in Parsaa

Open Parsaa Settings and paste the key under the OpenRouter section.

Select a model

Open the model selector in Parsaa. OpenRouter models appear alongside other configured providers. Select any model to start using it.

Cost Optimization

OpenRouter automatically routes requests to the most cost-effective provider for each model. When the same model is available from multiple hosting providers, OpenRouter selects the one with the best combination of price and availability.
OpenRouter can be more cost-effective than direct provider access for some models, since it aggregates pricing across multiple infrastructure providers.
